From the side of passion, I’d love to forward the joy and happiness I experienced from my wedding day to my clients. From the side of pain as a former bride, I’d love to help you planning your special day without stress and worries. My wedding planning process isn’t about ticking items off the list. But it’s about taking care of every little step of the way to make sure you have that special day that is stylish, meaningful, and unique to your love story as your wedding planner.
Summary of Wedding Planning Process
So instead of the cookie-cutter wedding planning checklist, I’d like to introduce you to this personalized experiences that you will receive when planning your celebration with Wonders & Weddings. Here’s the brief summary of the process:
- Discovering your wedding vision
- Choosing your wedding planning services
- Deciding on your wedding date
- Booking venues and wedding attires
- Booking other services
- Designing your ceremony and timeline
- Getting ready for your wedding
The whole process may take from 6-18 months. It could be longer, or slightly shorter, depending on the style and the size of your wedding. No matter how long it takes, my goal is to help you have the best, most enjoyable experience while working with me.
Discovering Your Wedding Vision
The very first step you’ll take when inquiring for services at Wonders & Weddings is your initial wedding consultation. This is free of charge. We’ll spend 30-60 minutes together to discuss about the types of wedding you envision and the wedding planning services that suit your need. And you can also use this opportunity to tackle on any concerns that you have.
Choosing Your Wedding Planning Service
After the consultation, I’ll send to you the proposal of the partial or full planning wedding service, depending on what suits best to your need. The information with services included in the proposal will be personal to you from the information I receive when we discuss your wedding vision together.
We may talk back and forth on this until we have the list of inclusive services that truly serves you and your partner. Once we agree on the details, we can move towards the payment terms. After paying a deposit, you’ll also receive a personal one-page wedding checklist, which I newly create for each couple to help you enjoy this experience.
Deciding on Your Wedding Date
Booking Venues / Wedding Attires / Other Services
Before, we may have to go through these items in a specific order, but right now, we can adjust the steps as it works best with your unique situation. While having a wedding date is crucial for booking venue and vendors, we can also start right away with researching vendors or trying on your wedding attires, which are the example of the tasks we can work on without a date. Once you pick your lucky number, we can start booking everything right afterward.
Designing Your Ceremony and Timeline
Now this is the most crucial part and the core of a humanist, personalized service you will receive from Wonders & Weddings. Considering your love story, shared values, and your true vision of the wedding day, I’ll help you design the ceremony and the timeline that are truly unique to your event.
Humanist weddings don’t have limitations on how the days go. It can be fun, emotional, touching, or totally bold, depending on what you both would love to see and feel.
Getting Ready for Your Wedding
Coming closer to the last step of our wedding planning process. Specifically the last two weeks before your wedding day, we will be finalizing all the details together from your guest lists to the whole sequence of how your special day goes. Possibly, also with a rehearsal on your request. For some couples, there may be certain tasks you decide to take on your own for your preferences. This will be where you completely let me take over of all the details. So that you can totally relax before and on your big day.
